Reason:
We request a bldg W45 fire alarm shutdown from 6 AM to 7:30 AM on Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 to conduct *live audible independent testing of the bldg W45-west parking garage fire alarm system* to be witnessed by DEI Systems (Phil Deneault 978-569-3755) in order to test a new heat detector installed on the west side of the lower parking level and as part of the Grounds Dept. relocation project. Paul Murphy 4-6163 and Jennifer Combs 3-7671 are the MIT project managers.
Independent testing of the W56-Grounds trailers- fire alarm system (currently standing alone) will commence following this test.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *live audible testing.
