Reason:
We request a bldg N52-all natural gas shutdown from 6 AM on Thursday, July 26th to 2 PM on Friday, July 27th, 2012 for AHC Mechanical (Al Cairns 781-844-7817) to install gas meters at the two new boilers as part of phase 2 of the boiler replacement project. Paul Murphy 4-6163 is the MIT project manager.
The 3rd floors of N521/N52 DLab/SUTD will be without comfort cooling from the new rooftop gas fired airhandling unit and the bldgs will be without hot - hot water and other heating during the shutdown period.
Effect:
Loss of domestic hot water, heating hot water, supply heating and cooling air as noted above, and low pressure steam for the duration of the shutdown.
