I left v-mail with Jim Purden , 3-7954, asking for a okay
on this shutdown. Jim is with the Cray people. The Athena
stuff will be okay for this period.
I will ask for a garuntee from PP for a fan while the AC
is down.

Left more v-mail for Jim Purdy.
Left v-mail for Eddie Andrews, 3-8033, (also in supercomputing)
and asked the same.
Called Phy Plant and put this shutdown on hold untill we recieve
a reply from the Cray people.

I have spoken with Firooz Patovi, 3-5126, who okayed this shutdown.
I have notified Warren Scott the shutdown is on for tomorrow and
that we reqiuire a fan in the room while the AC is down. Firooz
said if the AC is down for more than 30 minutes he would have to
shutdown the Cray. I told Phy Plant that the shutdown CANNOT last
more than 30 minutes. Howard Harrison, 3-6361 electrician, is
performing the work and I have told him everything and he assured
me, 1. ac only down for 1/2 hour.
2. fan in the door.
Should be all set.
