The following air handler units 2, 8, 9, & 10 shutdown request for Bldg. E17-1st Floor, E18-All, and E19-2nd Floor (new area) and 5th Floor, on Friday, July 13, 2012, 6:00pm through 6:00am on Monday, July 16, 2012, is for your information and response. Reason:
We request a Building E19 Air Handling Unit numbers 2, 8 ,9 & 10 shutdown on Friday July 13th from 6:00pm until Monday July 16th at 6:00am to tie in ductwork to feed IS&T 1st floor office in E17. Barr & Barr (Dick Akins 774-281-0162) will be removing AHU 2 (Also known as AC2) out of service, the PM tag number will follow for decommissioning the unit. The Chemistry group on the 5th floor of E19 currently uses AHU 8, 9, & 10 which will be shutdown during this timeframe. The air handling unit that feeds the IS&T group on the 1st floor of E17 will also be down during this timeframe while we reconnect. This is part of the E17-E18 renovation project. MIT Project Managers are Joe Collins 3-3621 and Jan Burke 8-5463.
Effect:
Loss of supply ventilation air for the duration of the shutdown.
