The following fire alarm shutdown notification and *brief live audible testing request for Bldg. 48 - All and Bldg. NW14 - All, on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, 6:00am - 8:00am, is for your information and response. Please note the that the *live audible testing will be brief and is scheduled to start in Bldg. 48 and then Bldg. NW14. Any questions, please contact Jennifer Combs, x3-7671.

Reason:
We request bldgs 48 and NW14 fire alarm shutdowns from 6 AM to 8 AM on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 for MacNichol Electric (Jesse Pothier 617-592-9427) to relocate single a/v's on the 2nd floor of NW14 and on the 4th floor of bldg 48 as part of the NW14-2324 Prof Ju Li lab and 48-436 Prof Polz lab projects respectively. We will conduct very brief *live audible testing of the bldgs 48 and NW14 fire alarm systems* in order to test the relocated devices. Jennifer Combs 3-7671 is the MIT project manager for both projects.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *brief live audible testing (bldg. 48 first and then bldg. NW14).
