The following normal building power and lighting shutdown request for Bldg. 62 and 64 - All, on Monday, July 16, 2012, at 6:00am through 4:00pm on Friday, July 20, 2012, is for your information and response. Any questions, please contact Rich Lucas, x4-6801.

Reason:
Shutdown of All Normal Power & Lighting in Buildings 62 & 64 is requested in order to perform a major repair and PM of the Switchgear. This repair will take up to 5 days so I've worked out this schedule with Dennis Collins of Housing to have the building empty during this week. Shutdown would begin Monday 6:00 AM July 16 and continue until Friday 4:00 PM July 20.
Emergency Power will remain on during this shutdown.
The buildings should be empty during this time except for the Main Electrical room 62-001A.
Effect:
Loss of emergency generator, building power, elevators, computers, telephones, lighting (including corridors/stairs), supply ventilation/cooling air, general/toilet exhaust, storm drain/sanitary drainage, and smoke detectors (daily) for the duration of the shutdown.
