Reason:
Shutdown of building NW12 All Normal Power and Lighting is required in order to replace two faulty circuit breakers. This is a follow up to our PM and testing done recently. The replacement circuit breakers are here and they will only take 5 to 10 minutes each to swap them out. Because of the complexity of the electrical system we must notify all that they could and probably will lose power for 10 minutes sometime during the half hour designated.
Effect:
Loss of access controls, emergency generator, building power, elevators, computers, telephones, lighting (including corridors/stairs), chilled water, condenser water, hot domestic water, heating hot water, supply ventilation/cooling/heating air, laboratory/general/toilet exhaust, compressed control/lab air, lab vacuum, condensate return, and smoke detectors for the duration of the shutdown.
