Reason:
Dear all, while coring thru the floor in or near 66-125 on Friday afternoon 6/22, an in-slab conduit was hit. To the best of our knowledge only labs 057 to 065 lost 120V/208V power however the effects of losing this conduit could increase. It does not appear as though any lighting was lost as of this writing.
This is an emergency shutdown for normal power in 66-057, 059, 063 and 065 and efforts are being made by Crocker Electric and MIT to make repairs or run a new circuit. Temporary power is or will be provided, thank you, Billy H. 8-0432
Effect:
Loss of normal building power (208V/120V) to specified rooms at this time until repairs are complete.
