Listed below the original request reason is the edited schedule due to issues from feedback received prior to the sending of this request:
We request bldg 9-all fire alarm shutdowns from 5 AM to 9 PM between Monday, June 25th and Saturday, July 7th, 2012 for Reilly Electric (Bill Walsh 508-962-1448) and Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799) to tie-in, program and test the new bldg 9 fire alarm system and demo the existing as part of the bldg 9 fire alarm upgrade project by Elaine Construction (Mike Grandmaison 617-756-1077. We will conduct approved *live audible testing of the new and existing fire alarm systems periodically each day between 5 AM and 9 AM and between 6 PM and 9 PM as required. The Saturday 6/30 and 7/7 shutdowns will be from 7 AM to 7 PM (not 5 AM to 9 PM) for 3rd party testing with intermittent *live audible testing* all day long and will be witnessed by J. & M. Brown Co (Wayne Maginnis 617-212-2509). JMBCo will also be on-site from 6 AM to 3 PM on Friday, June 29th to take ambient decibel readings throughout bldg 9. Access to everywhere is required. Tuesday, 6/26, Thursday 6/28, and Friday, 6/29 - 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Monday, 7/2 through Friday, 7/6 (except holiday - Wed. 7/4) - 6:00am - 8:30am and 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Fire Alarm and *Intermittent live audible testing all day
Saturday, 6/30 and Saturday, 7/7 - 7:00am - 7:00pm each day
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *periodic live audible testing as listed above.
