Type: Normal
Date: June 20, 2012
Day: Wednesday
Time: 6:00am - 8:30am
Building(s): W71
Room(s): All
System: Fire Alarm and *Brief Live Audible Testing
Duration: 2.5 hours max
Reason:
We request a bldg W71-all fire alarm shutdown from 6 AM to 8 AM on Wednesday, June 20th, 2012 for JMBCo to tie-in an additional five W71 temporary heat detectors (these in the 1st floor kitchen area) to an addressable pull station circuit as part of an extension to last summer's campus dining upgrades project by Elaine Construction (Mike Grandmaison 617-756-1077) which demo's and installs new - coolers and/or freezers and is being supported by the W71 life-safety upgrades project. We will conduct a very brief *live audible test of the bldg W71 fire alarm system at 8 AM*. Paul Murphy 4-6163 and Keith Diggans 4-6174 are the MIT project managers.

Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *brief live audible testing around 8am.
