The following approved fire alarm shutdown on Friday, June 15, 2012, 6:00am - 10:00am, and Monday, June 18, 2012, 12:30pm - 4:30pm, with possible *brief live audible testing on Monday, June 18, 2012, between 12:30pm - 4:30pm, for Bldg. 31 - All, is for your information. Reason:
We request bldg 31 fire alarm shutdowns on Friday and Monday, June 15th and 18th, 2012 as follows; from 6 AM to 10 AM on Mon 6/15 for Honeywell/Schneider to replace one of the gas sensors in the Vulcane system and from 12:30 PM (or immediately following the bldg 13-3064 O2 depletion system testing*) to 4:30 PM on Monday 6/18 to conduct silent and *brief live audible 3rd party testing of the bldg 31 fire alarm system* in order to test the gas sensing system for the Ghoniem Lab project by Wise Construction (Chris Luongo 781-389-5749). Gerhard Sinani 4-1705 is the MIT project manager.
Please note the live testing may not be necessary but we've included a brief live test just in case.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and possible *brief live audible testing on Monday.
