Reason:
We request bldg 5-AH1/EF1 shutdowns from 6 AM on Saturday, June 9th to 6 AM on Monday, June 11th, 2012 for Ducts Inc (Darren King 617-908-7370)/AHC Mechanical (Guy Fossiano 781-844-7815) to install and seal new supply air and general/fume hood exhaust ductwork in 5-034, 026, 022 as part of a Mech E project, that properly balances air flows in these labs, by Renovations Inc. (Jim Abbisso 617-594-7650). Gerhard Sinani 617-233-1413/4-1705 is the MIT project manager.
*note a minimum of 24 hours is required to allow the duct sealant product to set and cure properly. AH1 also serves 1st and 2nd floor classrooms.
Effect:
Loss of supply ventilation and heating air for the duration of the shutdown.
