Reason:
We request bldg 13-all fire alarm shutdown from 8 AM to 12 noon on Wednesday, June 6th, 2012 for Bennett Electric (Jim Vella 781-775-6613) and Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799) to tie-in and program two strobe circuit sync modules and to conduct some brief *live audible 3rd party testing of the bldg 13 fire alarm system*, to be witnessed by JMBCo (Wayne Maginnis 617-212-2059), in order to inspect and test new devices installed for the NSF funded 13-3064 lab renovation project by Barr and Barr Builders (John Bidgood 508-686-0870 or 8-0877). Biss Teelucksingh 2-5972 is the MIT project manager.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms and *brief live audible testing for the duration of the shutdown.
