Reason:
We request bldg E17/E18 fire alarm shutdowns from 6 AM to 2 PM on Wednesday, June 6th and from 6 AM to 7 AM on Thursday, June 7th for McPhee Electric (Mike Doherty 978-852-1354) to relocate firefighters phone jacks, some 4th floor temp heat detector wiring and a couple of speaker/strobes (E18 stairwell 3 and E17 PH) to make-way for demo; and conduct a brief *live audible test of the bldg E17/E18 fire alarm system from 6 AM to 7 AM on Thurs 6/7 to test the relocated devices* as part of the E17/E18 backfill project by Barr and Barr Builders (Dick Akins 774-281-0162). Jan Burke 8-5463 and Joe Collins 3-3621 are the MIT project managers.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *live audible testing on Thursday.
