Reason:
We request a bldg 3-all normal 480V/208V/120V bldg power shutdown from 12 midnight to 6 AM on Friday morning, June 1st, 2012 for Broadway Electric (Bob LeBlond 617-908-8550) to refeed the 3-442E slate board with cable in conduit per code and as part of the ECM/Nexus Labs renovation project by O'Connor Constructors (Paul Daley 617-828-4537). Nicole Pisani 5-5157 and Joe Collins 3-3621 are the MIT project managers.
Please note the power for tel/data closets 3-357T, 259T and 085T is fed out of bldg 1 normal power and will not be affected by this shutdown.
Effect:
Loss of normal building power, elevators, computers, telephones, lighting, supply ventilation/cooling/heating air, laboratory/general exhaust, condensate return, lab waste drainage, and exhaust hoods for the duration of the shutdown.
