Reason:
We request bldg E25-all fire alarm shutdowns from 6 AM to 8 AM on Thursday and Friday, May 31st and June 1st, 2012 for MacNichol Electric (Steve MacNichol 781-760-7196) and Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799) to tie-in and program an a/v booth pull station and a closet smoke detector with two associated RAI LED's in classroom E25-117 and to conduct *live audible 3rd party testing of the building E25 fire alarm system from 6 to 8 AM on Friday June 1st*, to be witnessed by J. & M. Brown Co (Wayne Maginnis 617-212-2059, in order to test the new devices and their programming and as part of the E25-111/117 classroom renovation project. Jan Burke 8-5463 and Biss Teelucksingh 2-5972 are the MIT project managers.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *live audible testing on Friday.
