The following air handlers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7 shutdown request for Bldg. 66 - All, on Wednesday and Thursday, May 23 and 24, 2012, between 6:00am - 2:00pm (1 to 2 hours each area as listed below), is for your information and response. Any questions, please contact Billy Homeyer, x8-0432.

Reason:
We request bldg 66-Air hander shutdowns on Wednesday and Thursday, May 23rd and 24th, 2012 as follows;
on Wed. 5/23 -
AH3 from 6 to 8 AM, overhead air, offices/classrooms south floors 1 thru 5
AH1 from 8 to 10 AM, overhead air, labs north floors 1 thru 5
AH7 from 10 AM to noon, overhead air basement
AH4 from noon to 2 PM; overhead air sub-basement
on Thurs.5/24 -
AH2 from 6 to 8 AM, induction units offices/classrooms south floors 1 thru 5
AH3 from 8 to 10 AM, overhead air, offices/classrooms south floors 1 thru 5
AH7 from 10 AM to noon, overhead air basement
AH4 from noon to 2 PM, overhead air sub-basement
for Shawmut (Dan Cook 617-908-6990) and Ducts Inc. (Darren King 617-908-7370) to conduct another round of fire damper inspections as part of the bldg 66 steam leak recovery project. Jennifer Combs 3-7671 is the MIT project manager.
We will monitor the AH1 space temp sensor in 369 during the AH1 shutdown.
Effect:
Loss of supply ventilation and cooling air for the duration of the shutdown.
