The following normal building power (120V/208V) shutdown request for Bldg. 37 - All, on Thursday, May 31, 2012, 6:00am - 7:00am, is for your information and response. Any questions, please contact Rich Lucas, x4-6801.

A Shutdown is requested for all 120 & 208 Volt normal power in building 37 in order to swap out three large circuit breakers in the main electrical substation.
Date: Thursday May 31, 2012
Duration: 1 hour (during this one hour all three will be swapped out and each takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes to complete, if all goes well).
Start Time: 6:00 AM
End By: 7:00 AM
All 480 Volt systems will NOT be affected.
All Emergency power systems will NOT be affected.
Gas Turbine Lab (Bldg 31) will NOT be affected.

Effect:
Loss of access controls, emergency power, normal building power, elevators, computers, telephones, lighting (including corridors/stairs), chilled water, condenser water, supply ventilation/cooling/heating air, laboratory/general/toilet exhaust, control/lab compressed air, lab vacuum, and condensate return for the duration of the shutdown.
