I'm not sure what's wrong with it, but the problem seems to involve
the layer between the keyboard and normal ubuntu stuff. Keystrokes
don't go through, I can't toggle numlock/capslock, and I can't get to
any of the virtual terminals. Everything else, including the mouse,
works normally. I've tried it on a different USB port and I've tried a
different keyboard which works, neither helped.
It seems like it works when the computer is first booting up. Before
grub runs (maybe even a little after, it's hard to tell because of how
Ubuntu hides it now) the keyboard seems to work, I can toggle stuff
like numlock and capslock.
