The following fire alarm shutdown notification for Monday, April 30, 2012, 1:00pm - 3:00pm and Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 6:00am - 7:00am, with a *live audible testing request for Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 6:00am - 7:00am, is for your information and request. Reason:
We request bldg 26-all fire alarm shutdowns on Monday and Tuesday, April 30th and May 1st, 2012 as follows; from 1 PM to 3 PM on Mon 5/1 for Fire Command Systems (tech is Andy, contact is Ara Bernstein 978-473-9964) to install a 26-041 oxygen sensor relay to report to the fire alarm system from the building management system; and from 6 AM to 7 AM on Tues 5/1 to conduct a brief *live audible 3rd party test of the building fire alarm system*, to be witnessed by J. & M. Brown Co. (Wayne Maginnis 617-212-2059), to clear the last remaining fire alarm punchlist item as part of the 26-041 MRI Lab project by Wise Construction (Chris Luongo 781-389-5749). Jennifer Combs 3-7671 and Varin Ang 4-2243 are the MIT project managers.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *live audible testing on Tuesday.
