Reason:
We request a Building 10 Normal Emergency Power shutdown, all Buildings 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,7A,8,10,11 emergency power from 12:01am until 6:30am on Friday April 27th for Broadway Electric (Bob Leblond 617-908-8550) to install and tie in a new electrical feed as part of the Building 3- ECM normal emergency power upgrade project by O'Connor Constructors (Paul Daley 617-828-7765). Nicole Pisani 5-5157 and Joe Collins 3-3621 are the MIT project managers.
This will involve all emergency power and elevator service in the buildings listed above. Elevators in Buildings 9, 16, 24, and 26 will be available to use during this shutdown timeframe to access the main group. ** Per discussions with the Information Services & Technology Department there will be no network (wireless and hard wired) and Voip service only in the following areas:
-Building 4 -All of basement except near 065 -Building 4-1st floor from rooms 104-145 -Building 10 -4th floor all -Building 10- 5th floor all -Building 11 -1st floor all -Building 11 -3rd floor all**

Effect:
Loss of elevators in these buildings (elevators will be operational in Bldg. 9, 16, 24, and 26) and emergency building power for the duration of the shutdown. Please see additional effects above.
