Dear Folks: the private workstation madman we have in 20C-209
appears to have a hardware error. Whenever I try to boot it, it
starts, and then gives the messages
RZ23 unit 3: hard error, Sense Key=MEDIUM ERROR
logical block address=4340
additional sense code=0x11
dev=0x1518, ino=0, fs=/
and then restarts the boot automatically, looping this way forever.
I've tried using a different power outlet (we have been having electrical
problems here) and on several different days, keeping it powered down
in between, but always this same thing results. Looks like you'll
need to service it. Please email or call to say when someone can
come around. Thanks very much.
