I have discovered, on a routine check, at approx. 17:30 the alarm ringing
on the A/C Datac unit. It was complaining about a smoke alarm, and the unit
was down, and would not power up. The room temp. was 85-90 degrees, and the
other a.c. unit was not running. I had summoned P.P. and Richard Sirois.
Richard, Dave (mechanic), and Jack (the electrician) responded within 10
minutes. No smoke alarms were in stock, so an electrical bypass was done.
A work order has been put into Fire Alarms (WO # 561230). The bypass was
successful, and the unit is back up and cooling. The other A/C unit has also
been turned on as well. A new smoke detector will be installed when one is
located.
Thanks,
