1. The worksatations take forever (at least 5 minutes) to start after
one types in the password.
2. Workstations are just freezing. It seems like the window managers are
working fine, but no commands are getting through or are taking
extremely long to get anything done.
I got a series of calls from three different campus locations (bldgs.
66, 1, 54) and my wkstation (beauty.mit.edu) is als behaving similarly.
