The external floppy should still be under warranty, as I have email from
Gary dated Dec. 14, 1992, discussing problems he had installing the drive.
I remember when he bought it, because he had so many problems getting it
running.
So it should be on warranty until December 1993, you would reason.
When I called DEC to check, the serial number came up in their database
as not under warranty.
so what this means is we have to find proof of the purchase date, and call
DEC up to get them to correct their warranty data.
Debbie, can you pull info on this drive from the MCC records? How should
John proceed from here?
