HI,
Yesterday there was an attempt to steal the workstation in 1-390. It
was discovered this morning by Tom Falen. Campus Patrol has taken some notes
but is not sure of what computer parts are missing. Could you send somebody
down to have a look and tell both Tom (x3-3938) and CP? Tom will take care
of getting the podium repaired as soon as you give them the go-ahead. Any
suggestions on ways to avoid this in the future? (The cables worked to
prevent theft of the CPU & monitor).
Thx, Vicky
PS I tried registering in Athena this am but got timed out while it entered
my username. I'll try again REAL early tomorrow. (It had no trouble finding
me, so I think your set-up worked, Naomi, thx).
