I have followed up on a 1410 call from Eric Revintish (X3-3721) that his
RS6000 is failing to activate. I have checked the network cable, and all
looks o.k. The machine states as follows: 'lost contact with volume server'.
The machine has thick-wire that disappears into the wall. I believe that Ray
Faith is responsible for the network in this area. I have rebooted the system,
and under lsattr -E -l en0 the current state is up. This RS6000 currently
sits with the message NO Hesiod Info.
