There is a hardware problem with machine dobbs.mit.edu, a Vax 2000. OLC suggested
I send you mail on the problem. Here are the error messages I obtained, when
attempting to start emacs:

12:11 sd0: LBN 36038 replaced
12:11 sd0b: hard error sn 20154
12:11 sd0: Forced Error Modifier set LBN 36038
12:11 pid 28154: swap: read error from swap device
