Hi-ho!
Well, here is the annual, eagerly-awaited hardware update for TDC. At
least it's not as bad as last summer! :)
VS2000 AB72904799 MIT0225304 test 50 yields ??HDC and hard disk
is not formattable
VS2000 WF71105450 MIT0206102 Same as above...
VS2000 AB72302Z76 MIT0225307 Hard disk formats OK, and athena
software loaded, but still crashes
with: 1 brk at 00000419
(It crashed with this error both before
and after the new format/install.)
VS2000 AB72302Z09 MIT0225315 Hard disk formats OK, and athena
software installs, but during use
randomly panics back to reboot, and was
seen to have this on its "Hit any...":
'Deactivating Workstation...
trap type 8, code=3c00000, pc=3c00000
panic: Segmentation Fault
syncing disks...'
users say when it crashes (an often
occurrence) it says it is syncing disks
nearly every time...
Well, that's about it. I believe we will need a few new deflection
boards for 2 or 3 monitors, but I won't know that until next Monday...
