Hello..
The machine that I am logged on to (w20-575-52, previously w20-tellurium)
seems to be doing some really funky stuff...
a) It doens't recognize the fact that I am currently logged on to it:
athena% finger @w20-575-52
[w20-575-52.MIT.EDU]
No one logged on
athena% zlocate ericolaf
w20-575-52.MIT.EDU :0.0 Wed Apr 7 17:03:09 1993
b) If I try to talk w/ anyone:
athena% talk llee@mercury
You don't exist. Go away.
c) I've been told that if they try to talk to me it says:
That machine is too confused to talk to us now.
I'm not sure what other kinds of weird things it might be doing that I haven't
discovered yet...Apparently, it has been doing things like this for a couple
of days (I talked to another person who had the same problems).
Hopefully you can figure out what's up...I'd like to exist once again. =)
