It is quite clear to me that I cannot rely on athena in teaching.
My print server broke friday after the glitch1.
It is still down. People respond, leave no notes, tell no one what they did
or didn't do and go away and leave things still broken.
Here is the latest in a series of email that I have sent.
I have also sent voice mail twice. Others have left phone messages
several times. Nothing Happens.
I have provided some temporary service by hooking up a printer to
sun workstations that I acquired as gifts to eecs and still control.

Subject: pal-p
well it is still down.I heard a rumor somebody came by and said it
wasn't on contract. If there was a problem, then athena should have notified
me not left it for rumors to reach me.
The printserver pal-ps is on contract and has always been on contract.
Ask Ed Moriarity about this, mory@athena.
I still don't have any athena printers.
The server, pal-p has the same error printout that it had early Friday
afternoon.
