Prof. Troxel has complained to Jim Bruce, Ed Moriarty, Hotline
and Anne Lavin concerning the printserver in 38-601.
Events.
-Young and/or Prof. Troxel informed hotline the printserver
in 38-601 was broken.
-Young sent mail to hotline. When (?).

-JJ Checked the contract database and confered with Young
about the problem. Monday morning.
-A message was left for Prof. Troxel stating the print server

stating the printserver WAS under contract and DEC was being
notified with a service call.
-JJ placed a service call to DEC at 12 noon.
-I met Dave Towle and Bill Mehan in w20 about 12:30. Dave
said he was going to 7-012 then 38-601 to check the printserver.
-Prof Troxel called 1410 at 1:40pm and left word that the "printers
were still down" and he BADLY needed service.
-I called Prof Troxel at ~2:15 and told him DEC was on

etc..
-Hotline had no update from DEC on the call.
-I paged Dave Towle at ~6:30pm who told me a RD53 drive was

-I asked Dave to make this an am priority. I told Dave to page
someone when he goes on site so we can immediatly load
software and provide him with any needed parts.
-I will send e-mail to op for their assistance.
-I will label a good VSII to be used for any kind of spares
needed in the staging room.
