Are the PAD's dropping lines?

Hello!  As the consultant on-duty right now, I have to say that I've
gotten several reports (4 or so) of the PAD's not being able to connect.
The users themselves have not changed any of their settings.  The
situation... well, they'll dial in to 87000, get a connect message and
tone, but the PAD prompts never show up and after 3 or 4 seconds the
connection is dropped.  This has even happened to another consultant.
