Hi folks,
a reload of meier is fine with me.
The EZ problem is undoubtedly related to its being a color X server, i.e.,
buggy as s***. The color server also will hang when responding to some, more modern
progams. The server reset has the effect of logging the person out. Could be that's
the actual problem.
I think I'd be willing to have the machine's color card and monitor replaced with the
monochrome card and monitor from ANDO, a workstation in 9-522 that isn't seeing much use
right now. Swapping display systems will kill off color in that room, but if it is hardly
working anyway, well, maybe it's still an improvement.

Meier terminal in N51 keeps automatically logging users out after some time. EZ
is also messed up. When you change the size of the window, the text accomodates
the change, but if you scroll the text splits where the old window used to be.
Probably needs soft reload, Rob is this one of your
systems? And if so is it ok for a reload?
