I have received a 1410 call from Richard Anderson (from the Hayden Library),
stating that there was much water present on the floor and heading to the
Athena Cluster at this location. He had notified P.P. a few hours ago, called
again, and then decided to call 1410. I immediately went down to 14S-010
to look over the situation with Richard. Much water was present on the floor,
and about 1/4 of the rug was saturated at this time. I put a call into Richard
Sirois, (P.P. evening supervisor), who met me at this location within 10
minutes. Richard determined that the outside wall (foundation on the south
side) had a pretty good crack in it. Richard has called in Bld. Services who
will start cleaning up the water, and will come back again during 3rd shift
hours to hit it again. In the meanwhile, A work order has been filed with
the Structural Divison to repair the wall. With Bldg.services staying on top
of the water cleanup, a safety hazard will not exist, and all hardware is in
no danger. The work order # is 539788 with the Structural Division of P.P.
