Subject: 5ESS Inbound Modem Pool Conversion

On Thursday, August 9th, Telecommunications Systems will be installing a
hardware and software upgrade on the 5ESS inbound modem pool between 8:00AM
and 12 Noon. It will NOT be necessary to remove the inbound pool from
service in order to complete the conversion, therefore service will be
available during this period. The conversion is being done to correct some
existing deficiencies (eg. hung connections) and to equip the inbound pool
with the MNP networking protocol feature (Classes 1-5).
