Just to keep each of you informed, the HD-Mgrs list has been requested
to be deleted from the Mitvma Listserv system which should happen
sometime this week. The managers from that list have been added
to the Hd-alert list so you now have only one List to worry about
in the future. I have also set the list to Private, which means
only an owner can add someone to the list and the list cannot be
subscribed too except though an owner.
The number of owners have been increase to give each department/
section authorization to update the list as their requirements
expand. If anyone needs instructions, please contact me directly
and I'll walk you thru the process or call the O&S Help Desk (3-7230)
and ask for Art Anger.
Note: When requesting to add someone to the list, please be
sure to include the Userid, complete node address i.e. Athena.mit.edu,
and the person name. These fields must be filled in for each entry.
To review the list to see who is on it, just issue the following
command: Tell listserv at mitvma review hd-alert
That will get you a copy sent to your userid. The updated
HD-ALERT LIST is listed below.
Those of you who receives this mail are on the HD-ALERT List.
If I have made a mistake, just let me know and I'll add or
delete those who request it.
