This room was discovered with 4 VS2000 systems covered under plastic with the
power still on. Needless to say, These systems were red hot. JJmorey and
myself have powered these 4 systems off. It appears that some work is
taking place in this room. However, nobody seems to know anything about this
situation. I have contacted John Stowe (Physical Plant Supervisor), as well as
the operations center. I have contacted Network service as well. I have
contacted John Doherty, and Peter Roden also. The systems that were red hot
are M11-116-4,5,8, and M11-116-9. The damage to these systems, if any, have not
been determined. Peter, It is a possibility that this could be an outside
contract job. If so, someone should of notified Plant, and than Athena would
of know. Please look into this situation.
