I believe your hesinfo problems were due to the fact that w20ns flaked
out last night.  I rebooted it, but it may have lost again.

There is no root hesiod server.  At least according to the NIC.  This
has been flamed to death by network services, so I won't bother
flaming more.  beeblebrox thinks it is a root hesiod server, though,
so if you want to use beeblebrox as your root hesiod server, go right
ahead :-)
