Problem with Newly Installed Workstation

The Decstation 3100 workstation was moved in the last two months from
66-317 to my office at 66-409. Now, when I try and logon, I get the message
"no hesiod information available for evans" and then "Workstation Failed
to Activate Successfully"
Last week someone from Athena (I don't have the name) was going to get the
ethernet connection checked and fixed if necessary. But, when I booted the
workstation today I got the same problem. Either it wasn't checked and fixed
or that wasn't the problem.
Could you have someone look into this or let me know what I should do.
In the meantime, could you reply to me at the email address which is an
