m4-035-4 screen went black

 Machine: m4-035-4
 Model: IBM RS6000

 Problem: user called hotline and reported the screen went black.
   
 I asked him to check all the cables, (esp. monitor) and plugs, and also
 to check the contrast buttons.  He could not find any problems.

 Machine m4-035-4 is ping-able.

 I told him to reboot the system (hit the yellow reset button) and we'd
 go out and check out the monitor.

  So, could you please check m4-035-4.
