Hi Rita,
When Jerry was over in 36-3xx moving all those machines a
couple weeks ago, we installed a machine in 36-357. The hard drive
sounded like it was starting to go then, but since the machine was in
the middle of being moved and since the network drop was not yet in
place at the time we did not think we should call it in (we didn't
want DEC showing up not knowing the machine had been moved etc)
Enough time has passed for all records to be updated and all
installation work to be done etc, so I'm forwarding this to you now.
Nick has been quite patiently going berserk with the noise, so
please see if this could be looked into rather soon.
Thanks!
Mory

Hi Ed,
The problems with the VS3100 that you had installed in my office
(36-357) are that the hard disk drive makes a loud hum and the floppy
drive does not work. Both of these are serious. The first because it
makes the office unpleasant and the second because it prevents me from
exchanging files with our secretary's pc which is one of the main things
I need to do. I appreciate any help you can give to solve these
problems. Thanks,
Nick Ulman
