hero cutting off the right side of the page; nil gives streaks

Hi!!

Hero is cutting off the right side of the page. I can get my whole
page to print on nil, but nil has a streak at the top and bottom
of the page.

I've got printouts illustrating this, in case you'd like a demo!!
