I have been unsuccessful troubleshooting a DS5000/133
mouse/logout problem.
Symptoms;
After being logged in for 8 + hours, a mouse click
on the root window will drop the window display.
What I mean is, the monitor drops all images and
the cursor drops to the lower left of the screen.
I have seen this happen with a left and a right
mouse click.
This has happened with both mwm and twm.
This has not happened with the workstation logged into
'service'
Action Taken;
Mouse has been swapped.
SW has been reloaded.
No errors in uerf.
diags produce 0 errors.
I have asked Laurie to have someone else in her dept
stay logged in over night. Then see if the problem
persists. (she will do this tonight, 9-30).
Contact is Laurie Kramer, 3-3054. Can you please give Laurie
a call. I am unable to determine the cause of this problem
though I suspect it is her specific login. I am unable to prove
this and convince Laurie.
