Subject: 1-115-10 DS5000/25
Date: Mon, 21 Sep 92 21:31:46 EDT

Hi All,
Here is a brief update regarding the DS5000/25 (1-115-10).

I have spent a few hours working close with Dave Towle (DEC) this evening
regarding 5000/25 problems.
According to Dave Towle, Nunzio has been trying to reach Jerry since the
middle of last week. Nunzio wanted to suggest that this 1-115-10 5000/25 be
swapped out. This problem has already been escalated by me to Dave, to Nunzio,
and arrangements are now in progress to get the DEC hardware support people in
to observe these problems. I believe for now, John Chase will be swapping
out M1-115-10 on Tuesday with another 5000/25 in preparation for the Thursday
class in 1-115. The original m1-115-10 should be brought to the E40 staging
room, where DEC could work on it.
                                --Lou
