I was using m11-116-8 and it crashed twice on a Memory Parity Error.
The screen went blank and the following message was displayed :
Memory Parity Error
SIMM (module number) = Bank 0, D0 - 15
Transient Error
Byte in Error (0-3) = 0
Data bit error
Transient errors for this SIMM = 1
Soft errors for this SIMM = 0
Hard errors for this SIMM = 1
Physical address of error = 0x5b2ff4
Exception PC = 0x0
virtual address of error = 0x0
The first time it crashed was during my intensive login session.
My .startup.X was incorporating > 100 mails.
The second time it crashed while I was just doing a "cview", which
is not memory-intensive at all.
Please replace the faulty memory module so that people can use
this machine without being annoyed by all the crashes.
