ctrl, b, f, spacebar, u, p are some specific ones, but others seem
to be doing it too. It can take a full second or so before a key is useful
again. This is especially bad for ctrl, since while I'm typing in this letter,
if I do ctrl-something and then start typing, whatever text I try typing
in the first second or so gets interpreted as control keys.
