Brian White called to say that his athena DC5000 went screwy when he stepped out
for an hour. The screen was a bunch of vertical lines and he could move the
mouse around but key presses were ineffective. He did ctrl-alt-del and
ctrl-alt-ret and after a few tries it successfully rebooted, but it didn't
respond at first. Everything is fine now. His machine is m56-633-1 and his number
is 3-1734. He just wants to report this and see if it happened to anyone else.
