This month's accomplishments (January 2002)
=B7 Completed the Student Payroll data prototype and rolled it out for=

user testing (CAO).
=B7 Completed the Settlement Rule data prototype and rolled it out for=

user testing (CAO and FSS).
=B7 Continued analysis work on the new SAP/HR implementation (with HR=

team).
=B7 Completed the acquisition piece of the Library system prototype=
and=20
demonstrated it to the Library users.
=B7 Continued development of the AAUDE Data Warehouse phase one.
=B7 Revised specification, modified data structure, and reloaded data=
=20
for Sloan School of Management Student Revenue project.
=B7 Tested migration to Oracle 8 on Taj and Orca (neither complete).
=B7 Investigated problem with some faculty missing from the=20
appointments tables. The business rules implemented in the warehouse load=20
needs to be clarified/corrected. On hold waiting for Personnel to get back=
=20
to us.
=B7 Created draft web GL Account list report.
=B7 Modified Personnel data loads to include Directory Department=
field=20
in test database. Waiting for feedback from Personnel before proceeding=20
with move to production.
=B7 Loaded missing web hits data from December.
=B7 Investigated question about calculation of age in warehouse. This=
=20
field is supplied by Personnel, not calculated in the warehouse.
=B7 Fixed performance problem on the employee view.
=B7 Created announcements mailing list (warehouse-anounce@mit.edu) for=

informing users of warehouse problems/outages/information. Users will be=20
invited to subscribe to the list.
=B7 Some users are having a problem getting to the AAUDE FTP site=
using=20
certain web browsers. Asked ASST about possibility of turning on FTP=20
logging so we can investigate the problem further. Waiting for response=20
from ASST.
=B7 Loaded time_day data.
=B7 Started modifying web hits load in the test database to recognize=
=20
hits from Windows XP (currently they are lumped with Windows 2000).
=B7 Continue investigating reporting tools.
