- Scheduled team EC3 modules for December 10
- Got commitment from Miki to incorporate .htaccess mods in MIT
Apache distribution
- Developed tentative business model for accepting new systems
- Jana and Kelly installed necessary software (except Office XP) on
their new notebooks.
- Jana has accomplished three EC3 modules:
"Dealing with difficult people: Angry behavior"
"Dealing with difficult people: Resistant behavior"
"Conveying respect, interest, concern"

General Issues:

- Enterprise Printing continued to require a significant time
commitment but is winding down
- Team member commitments still leave little time for teamwork
- Jana Tarasenko is moving to a new position within TNS leaving EAST
with a vacant 0.5 EFT
- The Enterprise Printing Delivery transition was rendered moot by a
decision that software support for the central printing service will
be provided by ASST rather than by EAST

COEUS

c Complete EDI 850 transaction upload to Coeus
c Test Coeus 3.8 and fix any problems
c Continue Java learning excercise
Accomplishments for October 2001:
--------------------------------
- Working on Coeus 3.8
- Fixed few bugs reported by Arizona State
- Worked with Arizona state to resolve a problem caused by PowerBuilder 7
- Coeus 3.8 testing is still going on
- Completed design for EDI txn 850 load
- Working on Loading 850 transactions into Coeus database.
- Created a test instance for Coeus 3.8 database

- Plan work to provide automated SAP system status info to SAPWeb clients
- Close out two major SAPweb / ECAT bugs: "10 items" & "blank screen"
- Plan upgrade of "Sporkie", the SAPweb test/development server
SAPweb Accomplishments for October 2001:

- Decided to forgo work on two intermittent SAPweb / NECX bugs in
light of impending NECX demise

TNS Goals for October 2001:

c Continue analyzing what can be done to eliminate TNS related
charges billed via JVs.
c Continue testing ICE-9 on development machine for 5ESS Switch replacement.
- Modify billing application to prevent double entries for IP
addresses and tether.
TNS Accomplishments in October 2001:
-----------------------------------
- Fixed 20 service orders.
- Produced 29 ad-hoc reports.
- Made 3 client installations.
- Comprehensively tested ICE-9 on development machine for 5ESS Switch
replacement. More testing will be required after some unexpected
changes related to duplicate logical channels for SM6 on new and old
5ESS switches.
- Modified and completed testing of non-phone billing screens to
prevent double entries for IP addresses and tether.
- Created three files for double billed IP addresses and tether
credits for July, August and September for JV upload into SAP.
- Modified Off-premises telephone billing allowing monthly and OPX
telephone charges to be billed to separate cost objects. This came
as an urgent request and is planned for the end of November
implementation.
- Met with Nate and Valerie for discussion about some new types of
OCC billing. As a result, five new equipment numbers were created and
necessary program modifications were done. This change was requested
for November billing and requires testing with CAO.
- Created excel file with mapping between equipment numbers and
existing revenue categories requested by Valerie.
TNS Goals for November 2001:

- Continue testing ICE-9 on development machine for 5ESS Switch replacement.
- Finish testing, test with CAO and place into production new OPX
billing feature.
